ANSI/AISC 358 Prequalifies SidePlate Connections for Seismic Applications

 

After a thorough examination by AISC's Connection Prequalification Review Panel (CPRP), SidePlate connections have earned their own chapter in the ANSI/AISC 358-10 Standard, "Prequalified Moment Connections for Special and Intermediate Steel Moment Frames for Seismic Applications."
