 the new board met for a brainstorming and planning session last month and in this newsletter you see some of the results from the meeting. 

 We were please to have many of you answering our survey, where we were measuring what type of events you would want us to provide for you. We will be posting the results in blog form in the near future, so keep your eye on the FACC news blog.

 All Scandinavians celebrate the summer Solstice at the end of June, the festival of light. We are bringing the light to you with our Swedish and Norwegian friends and of the month at our networking event. Come and meet our new board members Steven and Marko, make new business connections and celebrate summer!

 Mark your calendar with all the exciting events for the coming season and get involved, that is the best way to benefit on your membership.

            • Designland is an exciting showcase of new and innovative Finnish design from a generation of young entrepreneurs.
            • Designland tours the US for a year and will be in downtown West Palm Beach for January and February. FACC will organize this  together with the Made in Designland team. 
            • FACC will organize multiple events in connection to Designland, e.g. a launch party and a wine / dine networking event. Stay tuned for more information.

Florida private sector job creation picks up in April 
Florida added 22,250 private sector jobs in April, a 33 percent jump from a month earlier, according to a report released Wednesday by national payroll processing company ADP. Read more here.
