At the first peer exchange, participants shared their ideas and the challenges they’ve identified around Missing Middle Housing in the Houston-Galveston region. At this second event attendees will hear innovative approaches to developing Missing Middle Housing and preserving affordable workforce housing from a panel of housing experts.

Jennifer will discuss the City of Houston’s Livable Places Action Committee, why it was created and some of the initiatives they have implemented. She will also explain how their pre-approved multifamily designs can help fast track the permitting process.

Curtis will discuss how developing Missing Middle Housing types is equitable and financially sustainable for both residents and developers.
